Electric Retrofit Conversion
Electric retrofit is the certified conversion of gasoline and diesel engines to battery and hydrogen electric powertrains and systems, which we have made possible in France by creating the industry and ambitious industrial regulations (released in April 2020) and available in more than 80 countries now.
It is one of the most immediate and common-sense solutions for decarbonizing transportation, which is responsible for 130 million tons of greenhouse gases just for France, billions of tons worldwide, and for making everyday savings.
REV, exclusive partner of Volkswagen Group Retail
VGRF, the leading distributor of VW Group brands in France, and REV, an innovative company specializing in the electrification of mobility, are joining forces to market electric retrofit conversion kits for VW Group brands (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Cupra).
A MAJOR PARTNERSHIP, WHOSE OBJECTIVE IS TO:
- Develop, over the next three years, 12 “platform” solutions for commercial vehicles, older vehicles, and passenger cars for the Volkswagen Group's most popular brands (Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda, Cupra).
- Sell the kits to private, professional, and institutional customers (urban areas) together with financing offers and manufacturer warranties.
- Train and certify hundreds of technicians and mechanics at VGRF's 65 sites, located in France's largest urban areas.
- Install REV/VGRF retrofit kits as close as possible to customers. In the medium term, VGRF also plans to open one or more centers dedicated to decarbonization, which will make it possible to extend
